FAQs
Whether you have a question on making a booking, what happens on arrival or departure, the facilities we have @ Tencreek, our caravan holiday homes or bringing your own tourer, we have tried to cover the answers on this page. Click on the paragraph headings to find the answers to your FAQs.
Making a booking...
Q. What is the best way to book my holiday?
A. We don’t mind at all - either book online, by telephone on 01503 262447 or contact us by email.
Q. How and when do we pay?
A. The deposit is payable online via SagePay or either by credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Maestro, Solo and American Express), cheque, postal order or cash. The deposit is £70 and £30 per week for caravan holiday homes and touring pitches respectively. The balance is due 28 days before arrival.
Q. What’s included in the cost?
A. Free gas, electricity and bedlinen is included with caravan holiday homes (except promotional holidays like Sun Holidays). With both caravan holiday homes and touring pitches guests have free use of the park facilities including pool, clubhouse entry and kids club.
Q. What’s the cancellation insurance I am being asked to pay?
A. Please be assured that although we strongly recommend that insurance is taken, it is not compulsory. Please let us know immediately (must be within 7 days) if it is not required and we will take it off your bill.
Q. Are dogs allowed?
A. We allow dogs in Sunsaver Caravan Holiday Homes and on all touring pitches. Tencreek is situated close to the coastal path so there are plenty of walks from the park for you and your dog to enjoy.
Q. Are there any restrictions as to age or party make up?
A. Dolphin Holidays caters for families and couples and does not accept groups of all male, female or even mixed groups without prior arrangement. From time to time we cater for groups from schools, clubs etc but again only with prior arrangement. If there is any doubt please contact us to ensure your party is acceptable.
Q. I have been before and want a particular caravan or pitch?
A. We will be pleased to arrange this for you subject to availability. Please be aware that although every endeavour is made to comply with your wish, sometimes circumstances intervene and this is not possible. We will do our best.

After booking...
Q. When will you confirm my booking?
A. Online bookings are confirmed when we email our booking confirmation which will be less than 24 hours from receipt. Telephone and postal bookings can take a little longer to confirm as you may expect.
Q. Can I change my booking in anyway?
A. Changes can be made where availability allows. This may involve a date, extension or party make up change and will incur an administration charge of £15.00 plus any tariff charges that apply.
Q. How do we get to you by train?
A. The nearest mainline station is Liskeard then connection to Looe. Rail information.
Q. I need to cancel my booking - what do I do?
A. Telephone immediately (01503 262447) and follow your call with either a confirmation email or letter to Tencreek Holiday Park, Polperro Road, Looe, Cornwall, PL13 2JR. When you cancel you will be responsible for the cost of the holiday as set out in our terms and condition. However, your Cancellation Cover will cover for these costs assuming you cancel your holiday for an insured reason.

On arrival...
Q. What will you need to see on arrival?
A. Please bring your booking confirmation with you.
Q. What time can I arrive?
A. You can check in to reception from 4pm (subject to unavoidable delays) on the day your holiday starts. You are very welcome to use our park facilities, including swimming pool and Castaways bar should you arrive early.
Q. What happens if I arrive late?
A. If reception is closed on your arrival, your key or pitch details will be available in the Castaways Club.

Checking out...
Q. What do I have to do on departure?
A. You must vacate you caravan holiday home or pitch by 10am on the day of departure - you are still welcome to use the park facilities after this for a few hours.
Q. Can I book my next holiday when I am still on the park?
A. We will be very pleased to help in this instance - just drop into reception to discuss your dates and holiday requirements.

Facilities...
Q. Do I have to pay for use of the facilities?
A. Most of the facilities are free to use - on the main website there is an indication of the type of things you may have to pay extra for (ie pool tables, laundry etc).
Q. What is the entertainment like?
A. You can see this weeks entertainment here - depending on the time of the year, the entertainment may differ.
Q. Is there a Cash Machine on Site?
A. Yes, we have an ATM machine located in Castaways.
Q. Is there Wi Fi access?
A. FREE casual internet browsing is available in Castaways.
Q. What activities do they have for children?
A. We have a kids club most days at 10.30am for an hour or so. Children can play games, draw, make things, and lots more! Some days we have an afternoon session where we have dance classes, wii competitions, DJ Classes and loads more fun. In the evening there’s Deano's Funtime at 7.30pm where you can join in the fun and games with Deano, Sharky and the Yellowcoats. Don’t forget to check us out here.
Q. What time does the pool open?
A. The pool is open throughout the day. We also offer, in the mornings, an adult only swim and we also have aqua fit sessions (small cost applied). Check your welcome pack for details when you arrive. Click here for details of swimming pool opening times.

More about the Caravan Holiday Home...
Q.What is included in my holiday home?
A. All of our caravan holiday homes include Digi-box Colour TV, free gas, electricity and bed linen. There is a Fitted kitchen with gas cooker, oven, grill and fridge; gas fire in the lounge and electric heaters in the bedroom (some units are fully central heated); bathroom with shower and toilet. Basic Crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are supplied. You will have use of all park facilities. Cots and Highchairs are available for hire.
Q. Is bed linen included?
A. The caravan holiday homes are provided with sheets, pillowcases, pillows, duvets and covers. Please note that we ask that you bring your own soap, towels and other bathroom and kitchen requisites. Bedding for cots is not provided. Promotional holidays are excluded from this and there will be an extra charge for bed linen.
Q. Where do I park?
A. Parking is available for one car next to caravan holiday homes.
Q. Will there be an iron available in my accommodation?
A. No, but irons are available in the laundry.

Q. What is included in my touring booking?
A. After the pitch itself you have free use of all showers, toilets, chemical points and dishwash areas, Free hot water and use of the park facilities.
Q. Can I leave my touring caravan with you on a longer term basis?
A. Of course, please contact reception to discuss your requirements - more details can be found here.
Q. Where do I park?
A. Parking is available for one car on your pitch.
Q. Where can we buy gas?
A. You can buy butane disposable gas from our shop, and larger calor and camping gas from reception.

Q. Do you do any special offers?
A. Occasionally we email customers with a particular offer – let us know your details HERE.
Q. Can we BBQ?
A. Yes - away from gas supply and not touching the ground. There are basic BBQ supplies available from the on park shop.
Q. Do you have a dog walking area?
A. Yes we do have a small dog walking area, we are very dog friendly as long as dogs are on leads, they are not allowed in the clubhouse though. We have lots of surrounding fields and coastal paths, dog lovers will love it.

Q. Do buses go from the Park?
A. The bus stops are out of the Park on the main Road. Turn right down the lane, cross the grass verge, keep left for Polperro and across road for Looe and Plymouth buses. Bus Timetable.
Q. Are Taxis also available?
A. There are several Taxi companies available. We suggest: 007 Taxis - 01503 273007; Looe Taxis - 01503 262405; or Killigarth Private Hire - 01503 272818.

Q. Can I walk to Looe?
A. Head right out of the park down the lane, at the end of the lane turn right, then turn left at the triangle of grass town centre sign, downhill to West Looe hill. The walk is approx 25 mins.
Q. Which churches are there in Looe?

Q. How do I get to the beach?
A. Either Looe Beach by car, there is a large car park in West Looe, or by foot as described above. Also the coastal path is to the right of the grey shed across the touring field, through the gate and across the field and follow signs to Talland Bay across the beautiful Cornish coast Approx 25 mins walk. Q. Do the beaches take dogs?
A. Most beaches are dog friendly other than Looe main beach.
Q. Where is the nearest biq supermarket?
A. Liskeard/Bodmin See welcome pack on arrival.
Q. Are there any festivals on around the area?
