Cornwall hosts giant Christmas decoration

The festive spirit is alive and kicking, and nowhere more so than in Cornwall, where a giant Christmas garland measuring at 60ft in length is on display.

Based at the Great Hall in Cotehele, Cornwall, the massive Christmas decoration boasts 30,000 flowers and is open to the public, who can volunteer to help place all the flowers on the wreath.

Cotehele is a Tudor house built around 1300 and is rich in cultural and historical importance. Thought to be one of the least altered Tudor houses in the UK, the house and estate are under the care of The National Trust.

A popular attraction for tourists, the house also hosts spectacular gardens, arms and armour and brass and old oak furniture in amongst fascinating stories and legends surrounding the estate.

Cornwall holidays are a popular choice for vacations, due to the relatively cheap prices and unique scenery the county has to offer.
