Mr Bloom confirmed for Spring Flower Show

As previously reported on these pages, the 100^th annual Cornwall Garden Society’s Spring Flower Show will be returning to Lostwithiel next month. Now, organisers have announced that TV favourite Mr Bloom will be marking the occasion with a special guest appearance.

Director Debbie Evens confirmed that the star of BBC children’s show Mr Bloom’s Nursery will be on hand at Boconnoc Esate to pose for photos and sign autographs with fans, as well as running a host of family-friendly activities. Mr Bloom – who is also known as Cornish-born actor Ben Faulks – is expected to ask for volunteers to help him plant and water seeds on Sunday April 1, and will be sure to spark a horticultural interest in kids with his friendly and fascinating tips.

So, with cheap adult tickets and free entry for under-16s, paying a visit to the much-loved Cornwall Spring Flower Show could be the perfect family activity for you to enjoy on your caravan holidays this year.
