Planning to begin on Polperro festival next year
Planning will soon begin on the immensely popular Polperro festival, near Looe, as holiday makers start to look for ideas on how to spend their summer break next year.
Renowned for its appreciation of the arts, the festival has become a regular fixture on the Polperro calendar since its inception in 1996 and is a popular destination for tourists.
The most recent carnival saw a range of entertainment on offer, with a comedy night and the inaugural Band on the Run fun run contributing to a brilliant atmosphere.
The beautiful village and fishing harbour is situated on the stunning Cornish coastline, overlooking a port steeped in history and drenched with a unique cultural heritage. It neighbours the popular seaside resort Looe and hosts exciting sealife, with seals regularly spotted quayside.
