Rhys Darby set for Plymouth Pavilions performance

Stand up comedian and actor Rhys Darby is coming to Plymouth this summer as part of a nationwide tour, it has been announced.

The New Zealand born funny man, who is perhaps best known for his role in the smash hit television show 'Flight of the Conchords', will be performing at the Plymouth Pavilions on Saturday 7 July.

He started out his career as part of a comedy duo called 'Rhysently Granted' opposite fellow New Zealander Grant Loban, receiving critical acclaim for their performances at a couple of comedy festivals.

He moved on off the back of their success to pursue a solo career and eventually went abroad in an attempt to make his big break. After performing his first solo show at the 2002 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he landed a role on 'Flight of the Conchords'.

He has since appeared in Hollywood blockbusters such as the Yes Man and The Boat That Rocked, so why not come and catch the supremely talented comedian in action whilst you enjoy a stay at one of the fine caravan parks nearby.
