Search and rescue exhibition comes to Falmouth

The National Maritime Museum in Falmouth is preparing to open a unique exhibition chronicling the history of the UK’s offshore lifesaving teams. Opening its doors to the public on March 16th, 'Search and Rescue' is set to be a major event and will be available to visit for two years.

A highlight of the exhibition will be the installation of a genuine 70ft Sea King helicopter, which those attending will be given the rare opportunity to climb inside and explore. As well as hearing the stories of those who have flown and been rescued, you will even get the chance to dress up as one of the Sea King pilots!

So, if you are looking for caravan holidays this spring or summer, look no further than a trip to Cornwall. With beautiful scenery and great attractions like the National Maritime Museum, you will never find yourself short of things to do.
