Series of lectures and debates about Cornish history planned
A series of lecture lunches and author debates will be held across Cornwall over the coming months to discuss the county’s staggering historical and cultural heritage.
Speakers including Professor Ronald Hutton from Bristol University, maritime archaeologist Kevin Camidge and novelist Fiona Mountain will offer interesting thoughts on different aspects of the county drenched in unique historical significance.
A session examining the credibility of myths and legends surrounding King Arthur will take place at Tintagel Castle on Tuesday 10th January.
February 1st sees debate and discussion at Pendennis Castle in Falmouth, to investigate and find out more about the story of HMS Collussus and other important wrecks lying off the Cornish coast.
