Tenor Russell Watson lined up for summer Plymouth performance

One of Britain’s finest tenors, Russell Watson, will be performing in Plymouth this summer, it has been confirmed.

The Salford born superstar, who recently recovered from a life threatening disease, will be hitting the Plymouth Pavilions on 8 June, marking the start of an incredibly exciting summer for Cornwall concert goers.

A lifelong Manchester United fan, one of Russell Watson’s big breaks came on a significant stage, as he was asked to perform at Old Trafford before the final match of the 1998/99 premiership season between Tottenham and Manchester United. A week later, he was invited to sing at the UEFA Champions League final in Barcelona between the Red Devils and Barcelona, thus forming the beginning of a stellar career.

The self titled ‘People’s Tenor’ has released 8 studio albums, all of which peaked in the top 20 of the UK Albums Chart, with 2 double platinum, 1 platinum and 2 Gold representing his popularity.

Should you wish to catch the talented tenor live, then why not do so whilst enjoying a relaxing sojourn to one of the fabulous Cornwall caravan park locations?
