The Dubliners set for Plymouth performance
Irish folk legends The Dubliners will celebrate their 50th anniversary year with a nationwide tour, stopping off at Plymouth along the way.
The band, who decided to go one step further than playing in pubs and clubs in 1962, will be at the Plymouth Pavilions on Thursday 8 March, much to the delight of their fans based in the south of the country.
Despite tragically losing two of their founding members in the 1980’s, The Dubliners continued playing and have established themselves in musical folklore.
It is thought their hard-working approach combined with soulful, deeply meaningful lyrics resonates with their fan base and they are considered pioneers of Irish folk music across Europe.
Plymouth is a popular place for live performers and attracts locals from the city and nearby Cornwall.
Should anyone on their Cornwall holidays wish to see this legendary act live, book tickets quickly as the concert is expected to sell-out quickly. It could be the perfect event for anyone wishing to enhance their British vacation.
