Blink 182 heading to Eden Sessions

Blink 182, revered as one of the most successful pop/punk bands ever, have announced they will be performing live at the Eden Project this summer. The performance comes as part of the annual Eden Sessions event, which promises a stellar line up after Plan B also confirmed his attendance.

Made up from Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker, the trio have seen unprecedented success all over the world, selling more than 26 million copies of their six albums they have released. Their most successful was the 1999 album 'Enema of the State' which had multiple platinum status following strong sales in Australia, Canada and the US. Following their split to focus on solo projects, Blink 182 reformed in 2009; with their most recent album 'Neighbourhoods' released in 2011.

With such an iconic and successful group confirmed for the Eden Sessions, it is hoped other high profile acts could follow suit. The concert has been confirmed for 8 July, with tickets going on sale from 31 January at 6pm. if you're a fan, be sure to get your ticket as soon as you can.
