Cornish manor house to host night-time tours
There is a treat in store for those who enjoy exploring ancient country houses this spring, as Trerice Manor near Newquay opens its doors for a series of great events – at night!
Between 2 March and 27 April, Trerice will be hosting nine evenings of unusual entertainment in the glorious setting of its 16th century buildings and beautifully maintained grounds.
Guests will not have to pay any more than the usual admission fee to experience ‘Trerice by Night’, as they roam the old corridors of the grand house by candlelight and retire to the barn for a rustic meal and hot drinks. Visitors may happen upon volunteers in Tudor dress as they wander through rooms like the Great Chamber, and are advised to bring a torch with them to catch a glimpse of Trerice’s fantastic gardens.
So, for your chance to explore a beautiful country estate in a way like never before, visit the magnificent Trerice Manor on your Cornwall holidays this year.
