Falmouth looks forward to Spring Festival
With winter biting, Cornwall is already looking towards the warmer weather, with preparations for the Falmouth Spring Festival well underway.
Entering its second year, the festival – which will run from the 17th to the 25th March – is set to be a huge celebration of horticulture, art, fashion, dance, music, local crafts and much more.
There will be many child-friendly activities to enjoy throughout the nine days, and the fun begins at the Moor area on the 17th, as the Falmouth Art Gallery put on a range of creative workshops. With several unique attractions (including ghost walks and a live recording of Gardeners’ Question Time), the Spring Festival will be hosting entertainment to delight the whole family.
Most of the events on offer either take place in the open air or will be a tribute to the great outdoors. When it comes to Cornwall holidays, there could be no better way to mark the start of spring than with a trip to this lively and vibrant town.
