Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen is housed in a wonderful 15th-century fisherman’s cottage, providing guests with a historic and intimate setting to enjoy the best Cornish seafood. This unique coastal gem has a menu of seasonal small plates featuring lunch and dinner delights such as pepper cure monkfish and Port Isaac lobster.
Food blogger Rachel Phipps speaks very highly of her experience at Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen, sharing the following in her review: “The service was friendly and flawless, the food outstanding, and the atmosphere is cosy.” Regarding the fresh lobster, Rachel notes: “I can confirm it was the sweetest, juiciest lobster I’d ever tasted, perfectly cooked and doused in a simply mouthwatering butter, I think it will be years before I taste something like it again.”
Outlaw’s New Road (Port Isaac)

However, there are differences between Outlaw’s New Road and Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen. The former wows its diners with new techniques for preparing seafood and a tasting menu that changes regularly. New Road also provides a fantastic view of Port Isaac, enhancing the experience.

Sardine Factory (Looe)

While not a Michelin-star restaurant, the Sardine Factory in Looe has been given the Michelin Bib Gourmand award. This prestigious award is given to high-quality restaurants that excel in a simple cooking style and offer diners great value for money.
As a result, the Sardine Factory is a must-visit, especially if you are stayingat our Looe caravan park. This stylish restaurant focuses on local ingredients, and chef Benjamin Palmer emphasises bold flavours in his menu of top-notch Cornish seafood.
Kay Woolley, from the food and travel blog London Unattached, has eaten at the Sardine Factory with her daughter. Speaking about the small plates, she says: “I could have easily ordered several of the fish dishes as I love the fresh fish which is available in Cornwall. I opted for the king scallops baked in the shell with garlic breadcrumbs, and Italian-cured ham, which was very tasty. My daughter chose the crispy fried squid with sweet chilli and lime, which she said was sticky and sweet with just the right amount of heat.”
