Cornwall is the best child-friendly destination in the world
The holiday experience in Cornwall has been met with fantastic praise, being named in a recent poll as the most child-friendly destination found anywhere in the world.
The poll, which was commissioned by a leading travel expert, found that Cornwall tipped the likes of Orlando, Majorca, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura as the best place to take your children on a holiday. It certainly makes the thought of booking a caravan holiday in Looe this summer all the more inviting.
While Orlando finished in a close second place, the short journey time to Cornwall compared to the nine-hour flight to the theme park capital of the world meant that the Duchy took the top spot. It was for this reason also that neighbouring Devon finished in a respectable third place.
Cornwall unbeatable for family holidays
Reachable from just a few hours in the car, Cornwall poses as a fantastic destination to enjoy your summer getaways and with 88 per cent of people saying it is important for any holiday they book to be child friendly, it’s hardly surprising that millions of people head to England’s most south-western county year after year.
Over half of those questioned in the survey said that it is often hard to find somewhere suitable for the whole family, with many often worrying if the accommodation or activities they choose are suitable for youngsters. This is another reason why staying in a Polperro holiday home and in other accommodation in Cornish hotspots are so highly regarded, with the fantastic range of attractions just a short trip away – all of which offer fun for the family all day long.
